Dozens of quizzes had to be fixed. Why? It was brought to our attention that there was an input error -- quizzes were not accepting students' answers. After investigating the issue, we learned the issue was the result of an 'input' command problem and it affected only users of Internet Explorer's newest version. The newsest Internet Explorer has a 'number' subcommand glitch and it was not doing what it was designed to do, which was to accept only numeric responses. The problem did not affect the users of other browsers, like FireFox.

Nevertheless, the problem has been solved.
